In terms of power, the 768G features a 2.8GHz Kryo 475 CPU, a performance boost of around 15% compared to the 2.4GHz CPU inside the 765G. The Adreno 620 GPU offers a similar performance boost of around 20% over the previous chip, with 120Hz support at 1080p resolutions. Meanwhile upgradeable GPU driver support allows developers and customers to fine-tune visual performance, similar to the day one can with gaming PCs.

As one might expect from a 2020 mobile processor, the 768G includes 5G connectivity through an integrated Snapdragon X52 modem. It supports both mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G for "all key regions," as well as compatibility with both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks. Qualcomm says networking speeds can reach up to 3.7Gbps downstream and 1.6Gbps upstream, depending on how close the user is to a mmWave 5G site.

The 768G debuts in the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition.
