Long teased by the company, the Velvet claims to feature a combination of distinctive design and "tactile" elegance. One such touch involves the "Raindrop" camera array, with three cameras and LED flash set in descending order by size on the upper-left corner of the device. The cameras in question feature a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP depth sensor. A small central notch houses the 16MP front-facing camera.

Inside the device are the aforementioned Snapdragon 765 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 4300mAh battery with support for both fast and wireless charging. The body is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, and the display has a built-in fingerprint sensor and supports stylus input. Also included is support for the LG dual-screen accessory, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

LG is still to announce when the Velvet hits international market, but it is available in S. Korea in a choice of orange, green, black and white colours.
