The Huawei Ascend Y530 looks like a regular budget smartphone, if one with an interesting take on Android-- users can choose between two versions of the OS, Emotion UI or "Simple Android Interface."
As the company puts it the Simple Interface is designed for smartphoned first-timers, with Windows Phone-style tiles providing easy access to more commonly used features. Users can customise tiles as they please, and can switch between Simple and Emotion UIs in three "easy" steps.
Specs-wise it carries a 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 1700mAh battery and 5MP rear-facing camera. The Android version is 4.3 (aka Jelly Bean).
The Ascend Y530 should start shipping on March 2014.
