G Pad 8.3A companion device to the G2 smartphone, the G Pad 8.3 carries a 1920x1200 display, quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

It runs on Android 4.2, and powering all is a 4600mAh battery promising "long-lasting usage."

LG hopes to sell the device with a number of UX additions-- such as "KnockON" (shuts down the tablet with a double tap on the screen), "slide  aside" (a three-finger swipe to slide open apps away), QSlide (controls up to 3 apps in a single window) and QPair (a cross-platform app pairing the tablet with other Android devices).

The LG G Pad 8.3 should hit European markets by the holiday season, and will be on show at IFA 2013.
