A startup named Handscape believes iDevices should not be operated solely from the touchscreen-- through the HandyCase one can use such mobile devices by tapping and swiping from behind.
Described as "see-through technology," the HandyCase is a silicon protective case with touch capability. In addition it overlays animated fingers to the screen, making the phone or tablet "transparent."
It connects to devices via Bluetooth Smart, and promises to allow apps to take advantage of every finger from each hand, with technology ensuring no accidental clicks take place. The makers also say developers can easily add HandyCase capability to apps via API.
The HandyCase is currently available in preoder for on the Kickstarter platform, with models compatible with the Phone 6, iPhone 6+, iPad Mini 2/3 and iPad Air 2. Handscape is also working on an iPad Pro version, as well as versions compatible with Android devices.
