Mad Catz Debuts iDevice Gamepad

Mad Catz characterMad Catz is the next vendor following the likes of Logitech and Moga in iOS7-compatible game controllers, launching the C.T.R.i wireless gamepad at Mobile World Congress 2014.

Aesthetically the C.T.R.L.i looks quite familiar-- as it should, since it is actually a reconfigured version of the gampepad packaged with the M.O.J.O. micro console, which in turn is a version of the Mad Catz MLG Pro Circuit Xbox 360 controller.

It connects to iDevices via Bluetooth, making it compatible with any iOS7 device and leaving the Lightning port free for charging duties. A removable spring-loaded mount carries iPhones during play.

Mad Catz should start shipping the C.T.R.L.i from April 2014 in black, white, blue, red and orange.
